Course Description
This course offers a comprehensive exploration of scientific principles through a multifaceted approach that encompasses reading, doing, and researching. Throughout the course, participants hone their scientific reasoning skills, emphasizing analytical and logical thinking combined with evidence-based decision making, all within the context of discipline-specific research processes. A core course for early childhood and middle level education majors, the course provides participants with an overview of the essential topics and eligible content contained in Pennsylvania's Science, Technology, Engineering, and Environmental Literacy Standards. This course meets Gannon University's Liberal Core Scientific Reasoning requirements.
