Program Description
.The Global Languages Program offers a minor in Arabic Studies to qualified seniors upon graduation.
To fulfill the Arabic Studies Minor requirements (15 credits total), students must complete ARABI 111 and ARABI 112 (3 credits each). In addition, they must take either ARABI 210 or an approved course focused on the Arabic-speaking world (3 credits), and either ARABI 211 or another approved Arabic-speaking world course (3 credits). Finally, students must complete one additional 3-credit course that focuses on the Arabic-speaking world.
The total of credits necessary for a minor in Arabic Studies is 15.
Students interested in this minor should consult with the Global Languages Program Director and their instructor for Arabic early in their academic career for advice on the sequence of courses to take. They must also complete an application form for a minor in the Dean's office.
