Gannon's Spanish program will lead you to develop proficiency in the Spanish language, a language of national and global importance, while deepening your understanding of the rich and diverse cultures of Hispanic nations. Spanish majors will demonstrate an Advanced Low minimum level of proficiency (as defined by ACTFL) in the target language
Students will apply sound research methodology and compose information with accuracy and clarity.
Students will critically evaluate literary and non-literary products of the target culture.
Students will identify the cultural context in which literary and non-literary texts (films, pop-culture, folk, and other art etc.) were produced.
