Aims and Objectives

The Gannon University physics department consists of passionate faculty who are dedicated to educating students using relevant, real-world examples.  As a fundamental science, we support and serve numerous other departments across the university by laying a foundation upon which additional professional knowledge will be built. We encourage interdepartmental cooperation through our curriculum and scholarly activities to promote professional development of both students and faculty.  Our students apply their understanding of physics to their everyday life and professional experiences.
